About Me

Please allow me to introduce myself to you, provide my background information, and to offer my services. My name is Kevin Whitton, a retired physician, and realtor with Windermere Real Estate here in Missoula. My wife, Kathleen, and I moved to Missoula from north Georgia in October 2013 and reside in the Grant Creek area.

When my wife and I were considering retirement relocation, moving west was first and foremost for us and we are both thrilled that Missoula has become our home. We made two trips to Missoula searching for a house, but knew as soon as we stepped out of the airport on that first trip, Missoula was where we wanted to live. With more than enough activities here, we enjoy: hiking; attending symphony performances and activities; skiing; parish church life; civic volunteering (weekly at the food bank and occasionally at the Poverello Center); MOLLI courses at the University of Montana; community events, especially the art auction; and driving trips to explore Montana's vast beauty. I am currently a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree, here in Missoula.

After completing my medical internship/residency in Mew York City, I moved to north Georgia and established myself in a successful solo medical and surgical practice for more than 30 years. During that time, I met my wife, Kathleen, a registered nurse with an intensive care and hospital management consulting background. Together we built and operated a busy ambulatory surgery center.

Why real estate? Not long into my retirement, I realized there was a void in my life. What I loved most about medicine was the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, to address their needs, and to help improve their lives. I enjoyed the challenges afforded me in solving their problems to the best of my ability. Growing up in a family of eight boys, I have always known that this world consists of others and that my needs are less important than of those around me. I knew it was time to put my life skills back to work, and I was deeply attracted to real estate for all of the aforementioned reasons.

The purchase and sale of a home is a big deal. It can be a stressful time for most. My job as your realtor will be to make that transaction as seamless as it can possibly be for you, my client. I have always known that one of the most important things a physician can do is listen to his or her patient so that an appropriate plan of action can be determined and implemented. My commitment to you, if you would allow me, is to listen, collaborate with you on a plan of action, and to make myself available to you as needed. My goal is your total satisfaction.

In advance, thank you for your time and consideration.
